The purpose of this study is (1) to find out the form and meaning in comic costumes (2) to find out the representation of social criticism (through myths). This study specifically focuses on reading comic signs published in Comic Costumes. Then described descriptively. Primary data comes from the results of direct interviews with accounts on Instagram accounts, using qualitative research methods, and conducting literature studies. The data is dissected using the theory of reading the sign of Roland Barthes. The research results are found based on the overall problem formulation, which is what is seen in concrete and connotative, key words, majas, and also the names used in everyday life. Penelitian ini berjudul "Representasi Mitologi Jawa pada Komik" Kostum Komik "di Instagram sebagai Media Kritik Sosial". Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui bentuk dan makna dalam kostum komik (2) untuk mengetahui representasi kritik sosial (melalui mitos). Penelitian ini secara khusus berfokus pada membaca tanda-tanda komik yang diterbitkan dalam Kostum Komik. Kemudian dideskripsikan secara deskriptif. Data primer berasal dari hasil wawancara langsung dengan akun di akun Instagram, menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dan melakukan studi literatur. Data tersebut dibedah menggunakan teori membaca tanda Roland Barthes. Hasil penelitian ditemukan berdasarkan rumusan masalah secara keseluruhan, yaitu apa yang dilihat dalam konkret dan konotatif, kata kunci, majas, dan juga nama-nama yang digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
