  • The Influence of Using Some Commercial Concentrate to Optimalitation Feed Intake, Hen Day Production (HDP), and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) at Layer. The research was held at June 14th to July 14th 2007 in Bacem village, Sutojayan District, Blitar City. The purposes of the research to know influences of using some concentrate to Feed Intake, Hen Day Production and Feed Conversion Ratio at Layer period. The materials used are 200 hens layer period which had 56 weeks old with Isa Brown strain CP 909 brand. The method of this research used Completely Randomization Design (CRD) with 5 treatment concentrate K1 (124-P), K2 (KLKS-36), K3 (Con 4-K), K4 (AS 204-36), K5 (KSL-36). Every treatment 4 repeating and every repeating by 20 hens. The feed which giving are combination bran, corn, concentrate and minerals with 18 percent isoprotein in nutrient feed. The result of analyzing variant shows significant (P<0.05) to feed intake with the best treatments are K5, K1 and K3. At Hen Day Production (HDP) and Conversion Rate Ratio (FCR) after analyzing variant shows not significant (P>0.05). The conclusion from result of this research shows that the using of some commercial concentrate significant (P<0.05) to feed intake and not significant to hen day production and feed conversion ratio (P>0.05). Suggested in self mixing use commercial concentrate, user must choosing high quality concentrate with excellent production performance.
