  • This research was conducted on August to October 2007 in Chemistry Laboratory and in Nutrition Laboratory Brawijaya University of Malang. This research aim is to know the digesting of crude fiber and crude protein of paddy straw with addition various probiotic by in vitro. The method that to be used in this research is experiment method,and it using experiment in-vitro appropriate with modification method between Tilley and Terry and Van Der Meer (1980). This research by 4 treatments, need each repeated 3 times. The experiment design device that to be used in this research is completely random used design device. The data’s collection are value of crude fiber and crude protein. Diggest the data’s were analized by random design device was analyzed by variance analysis, there was real, to be continued with lowest of real different test (BNT). The result, it showed that there was very significant real influence at digest value of crude fiber and of crude protein (P < 0,01). The average of that were digesting the crude fiber was : P0 = 52,14% ; P1 = 72,71% ; P2 = 80,88% and P3 = 78,47%. Whereas average of crude fiber diggest were was: Po = 13.38%; P1 = 13,83%; P2 = 18,03% and P3 = 18,37%. The starbio treatment has highest value in crude fiber digest that was 80,88% and in the biofeed treatment, the crude protein was the highest value that was 18,37%. From these result, it was needed to details research by in-vivo especially using different probiotic level.
