- Habibie’s government decentralization policy due to the start of reformation era, known as region autonomy policy, gives the opportunity to every Indonesian region to develop their human resources and their any other potential aspects. Madiun, as one of the regions in East Java, is also aiming for the successful region autonomy. Madiun’s region government tries to maximize and working on every region potential aspects that are available in its region. The government should be able to alter the society’s perception towards public service quality that’s performed though the permit gaining process. This is an absolute necessity because in the autonomy region era, the income of the region depends on tax, coming from its own society. Therefore, society’s perception on public service quality can effect their interest of entrepreneurship. This research is using population study as research design whereas less than 100 subjects are involved, therefore, entire samples are researched. Data gathering technique are public service quality perception scale and entrepreneurship interest scale. Data analysis shows that probability of error is (p) =0,000, which means that statistic test result is very significant. Coefficient correlation value is (r) =0,794, shows there’s a positive correlation between the two variables. It is concluded that there’s a positive correlation between public service quality perception variable and entrepreneurship interest variable. Public service quality perception variable and entrepreneurship interest are effectively contribute as much as 63%.
