  • The purpose of this research is to know the decomposition of straw degradation during 48 hours by adding various starters toward the content of dried and organic material using in vitro method. The materials used in this research are straw of Bramu variety and three kinds of starters such as effective micro-organism (Em4), starbio and Bio-F. Besides, the tools used here are to assimilate in vitro, and tools of proximate analysis of dried and organic materials. The method used in this research is experiment. While the hypothesis here is Complete Random Plan by using four treatments in three cycles. On the other hand, the variable measured is the value of decomposition of dried and organic materials during 48 hours. The data got from this Complete Random Plan is analyzed with variant analysis. If there is interaction found in here, it will be continued with the hypothesis of the smallest real different (BNT). The research finding shows a quite real affect toward the degradation of dried material (P<0.01). The average of the dried material on the treatment P1 (control): 44.775%, P2 (straw + Em4): 59.256%, P3 (straw + starbio): 60.808%, P4 (straw + Bio-F): 56.2636%. On the other hand, the degradation score of organic material affects real (P=0.01) of average score of organic material degradation on the treatment P1 (control): 55.095%, P2 (straw + Em4): 60.673%, P3 (straw + starbio): 61.238%, P4 (straw + Bio-F): 58.602%. The treatment of giving starter affects so real toward the degradation of the dried material with the best treatment on straw added with starbio 60.808%. on the other hand, organic material affects real with the best treatment on straw added by straw added by starbio 61.238%.
