  • The purpose of this research is to describe about work environment, compensation, satisfaction of work, and employee performance, and also tested the significance effect work environment and compensation of employee performance through satisfaction of work as intervening variable. To test which variable is the biggest and the strongest between direct variable and indirect variable that affected to employee performances. The population was 32 cooperative employees specially department of marketing (marketing) in Malang branch. The sampling technic was total sampling. Analysist tools are using a range of scale and path analysis. Research result shown that work environment are the bad categories, and compensation are the bad categories, and work satisfaction are the lowest categories, and employee performance also the lowest categories. Work environment have significant effect to employee performances, compensation have significant effect to employee performances, and work satisfaction have significant effect to employee performance. And also work satisfaction can mediate between work environment and compensation on the performance of employees.
