- Catfish is a freshwater fishery commodity that is widely cultivated in Indonesia because demand continues to increase every year. To provide superior and adequate catfish seeds, intensive methods and treatment are needed to obtain superior seeds, providing adequate feed for fish will support growth as well as the quality of the seed itself. Providing adequate food for fish will support the growth and quality of the seed itself. The study was conducted on August 17, 2018 to October 7, 2018, located at the Laboratory of Fisheries, Faculty of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The research method used in this study is an experimental method, namely research activities aimed at assessing the effect of a treatment / action / treatment using different treatments. The results showed that the conversion ratio of pearl catfish feed (Clarias gariepinus) did not show any difference seen from the ANOVA test that has been done where F count is lower than F tables 0.05 and 0.01 so F tables reject H1 and accept H0 then there is no need to proceed to the BNT test. For the synthesis of catfish pearls (Clarias gariepinus) showed significantly different results on P2 against every other treatment from ANOVA analysis showed that the F count is greater than F tables 0.05 and 0.01, then the LSD test that obtained the P2 results was very different significantly with respect to P3 and significantly different with respect to P1 and P4. For the quality of the water is still classified as normal and safe in this study measurements of temperature, pH, DO, and ammonia to maintain water quality.
