- This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline and compensation on employee performance with work satisfaction as an intervening variable on employees of program section Dinas Sosial Provinsi Banten. In this study, there are four variables, namely Work Discipline (X1), Compensation (X2), Employee Performance (Y), and Work Satisfaction (Z). The study involved 50 samples on employees of program section Dinas Sosial Provinsi Banten. To obtain accurate results in this study using interviews, observations, and questionnaires. This research uses descriptive method, data analysis, instrument test, multiple regression analysis, t test, intervening variable path analysis and sobel test with SPSS v22 calculation. The result of this research showed that : (1) Work Discipine is Positive and significant impact on the Employee Performance, (2) Compensation is positive and not significant impact on the Employee Performance, (3) Work Discipline is positive and not significant impact on the Work Satisfaction, (4) Compensation is positive and not significant impact on the Work Satisfaction, (5) Work Satisfaction is negative and not significant impact on the Employee Performance.
