  • This paper presents in general, from the perspective of Activity Theory and Action Media, a schema for understanding, as activity stage-systems, the processes of teaching-learning of university information competences: Information Literacy (Models and Standards) and Information Seeking and Use Behaviour (Models) to allow higher levels and results in the formation process and behaviours. In turn, more specifically, and as a result to the scheme, also provides an analysis form to understand what Activity System element responds to the different norms-competences-results of most internationally recognized standard in this area “Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education” by ALA/ACRL, (integrating that format other internationally recognized standards: ANZIIL, CAUL, DHI Ciudad Juárez), and so, identifying personal, group and institutional strengths or weaknesses in the different InterActions, all this, considering key aspects of context: university / Colombian, Latin-American and/or Ibero-American.
