- This study investigates, using hierarchical multiple regression analysis, effect of TQM practices of teamwork, autonomy and process control on internal knowledge transfer and innovation. The study also tested the role of internal knowledge transfer in mediating the relationship between TQM practices and innovation. The finding use empirical data gathered from 85 faculty and high school leaders in Yogyakarta show that teamwork, autonomy, and process control has positive effect on internal knowledge transfer. Autonomy and process control has positive effect on innovation, while teamwork having no significant effect on innovation. This study proved that the relationship between autonomy and process control on innovation mediated by internal knowledge transfer. Kata Kunci: TQM practices, internal knowledge transfer, innovation
