The subject of the research encompassed all of eighth semester students of English tadris study program STAIN curup who had translated movies subtitle. in STAIN Curup, the total of student was 6 students. From the population, all of the students were taken as the sample of this research by using a purposive sampling technique because the researcher only need data from the students who had transalted movies subtitle. Data were collected through interview guidance. The collected data were analyzed by using data managing, reading/memoing, data classifying, data description, and data intepreting. The findings arrive at a conclusion that there are significant problems that the students face and don’t face, and significant strategies that students used and don’t use, in translating movies subtitle.
