AKTIVITAS INHIBITOR PROTEASE PLASMA DARAH PADA BEBERAPA IKAN TROPIS AIR TAWAR TERHADAP ENZIM PAPAIN
Daftar Isi:
- This research aims to know the activity of protease inhibitors on blood plasma of some tropical freshwater fish to enzyme papain. This research was conducted from October 2017 until December 2017 using experimental laboratory method and data was analyze by descriptive are research result. The parameters observed were moisture content, protein content with the method of analysis Bradford, inhibitory activity to papain enzyme and, and analysis of blood plasma molecular weight using SDS-PAGE method. The results indicate that water content on plasma swamp eel higher i.e. 93,05% compared with 91,46% catfish plasma. This proved immunodeficiency protein catfish greater i.e. 16,63 mg/mL, while the swamp eel’s 11,92 mg/mL. The inhibitor activity of blood plasma from catfish was 83.05% to papain enzyme. Meanwhile, the inhibitor activity of blood plasma from swamp eel was 64,41%. The highest inhibitor activity was resulted by catfish blood plasma although with the concentration plasma. The study also showed that the molecular weight by the method of SDS- PAGE on plasma catfish range 7,30-124,36 kDa and plasma swamp eel 7,47- 101,16 kDa.
