  • The aim of the research was study the effect of the use of Hi-Fer⊕ on dry matter digestibility, organic matter and N-NH3 in fermentation grass Blembeb (Ischaemum rugosum). The research was held from February until March 2017 in Animal Feed and Nutrition (NMT), Departement of Animal Husbandry Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University. This study uses a completely randomized design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 4 replicates. Treatment consists of P0 (Grass Blembeb (Ischaemum rugosum) (control), P1 (Grass Blembeb (Ischaemum rugosum) + 0,4% Hi-fer⊕), P2 (Grass Blembeb (Ischaemum rugosum) + 0,8% Hi-fer⊕), P3 (Grass Blembeb (Ischaemum rugosum) + 1,2% Hi-fer⊕). Observed variables were dry matter digestibility, organic matter and N-NH3. The results of this study show that the treatment has no significant effect (P >0.05) on dry matter digestibility, organic matter and N-NH3. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the use of Hi-Fer⊕ to a dose of 1.2% in Blembeb grass fermentation (Ischaemum rugosum) has not had a significant effect on dry matter digestibility and organic matter digestibility but there is a tendency to increase N-NH3 content by 40% when compared to controls.
