KARAKTERISTIK FERMENTASI RUMEN SAPI POTONG YANG MENDAPAT RANSUM BASAL AMONIASI TOTAL MIXED FIBER DENGAN SUPLEMENTASI MINERAL MAKRO ORGANIK SECARA IN VITRO

- Macro mineral plays important role on bioprocess activities in the rumen. The aim of this research was to optimized bioprocess in rumen by measuring NNH3, Total VFA concentration and pH as response of organic macro mineral (Ca, P, S) supplementation to basal ration of ammoniated Total Mixed Fiber. The experiment was held from September to December 2017 in Animal Science Department Experimental Farm and Laboratory of Animal Feed and Nutrition, Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University. Level of organic macro mineral supplementation were determined by multiplying requirement of mineral as treatments. Completely randomized design of 4 treatments (P1 : Basal Ration + 0x organic macro mineral supplementation; P2 : Basal Ration + 0,75x organic macro mineral supplementation; P3:Basal Ration + 1x organic macro mineral supplementation;P4: Basal Ration + 1,5x organic macro mineral supplementation) and 4 replications were applied to this experiment. Concentration of N-ammonia, total volatile fatty acid and pH value were determined as observed parameters. The result showed that organic macro mineral supplementation to basal ration has significant effect to all parameters and 1,5x level organic macro mineral supplementation resulted on 13,91 mM N-NH3, 165,3 mM Total VFA and pH 6,71.
