Research</subject><description>The use of matchmoving techniques in the world of motion graphic is not a&#xD; novelty. Here the author tried to present a paper and a creation of matchmoving&#xD; which is implied into a motion graphic form of UMN TV station ID.&#xD; Matchmoving is a technique in which elements of the computer-generated&#xD; (CG) are merged into a live-action footage. Merging is done by tracking the&#xD; movements or particular object in the footage. The result of the tracking will then&#xD; be used for the calibration process, a process of defining a virtual camera that is&#xD; similar to the movement of live-action camera.
