- The objectives of this study are as follows: 1) To identify the factors causing the performance of the Sub-Directorate of Community Policing, Directorate of Community Development at Polda DIY in the context of fostering Kamling Posts during the Covid-19 pandemic. 2) To formulate a strategy to improve the performance of the Sub-Directorate of Community Policing, the Directorate of Community Development of Polda DIY in fostering Pos Kamling during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was analyzed by means of descriptive and qualitative analysis. The results showed that 1) The factors causing the performance of the Yogyakarta Regional Police's Sub-Directorate for Community Policing Development in the framework of fostering the Kamling Post during the Covid-19 pandemic are not yet optimal is having inadequate facilities and infrastructure, lack of DIY Polda personnel, there are still members who have not developed themselves. 2) The strategy carried out to improve the performance of the Yogyakarta Regional Police Sub-Directorate for Community Policing in the context of fostering Kamling Posts during the Covid-19 pandemic is to increase coordination and work planning meetings.
