This research took place in SMA Negeri 1 Habinsaran. The results show that through the task control card as a strategy in the learning process and in school management in increasing student participation. There is an active participation of teachers in assigning tasks and correcting the tasks of the learners. This data is obtained from the task control card that the teacher must fill in when the teacher enters the class. So obtained learning results from the assignment. Provision of tasks affect the learning time, mastery of the material, preparation of learning and motivation to learn. The influence of students 'learning motivation is increasing because the task assignment also encourages students' experience in learning something. Keywords: control card, learning motivation Abstrak: Tujuan best practice ini adalah Untuk mengetahui apakah dengan pemanfaatan kartu kendali tugas akan terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertempat di SMA Negeri 1 Habinsaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui kartu kendali tugas sebagai satu strategi dalam proses pembelajaran dan dalam manajemen sekolah dalam meningkatkan partisipasi belajar siswa. Terjadi partisipasi aktif dari guru dalam memberikan tugas dan mengoreksi tugas dari peserta didik. Data ini diperoleh dari kartu kendali tugas yang wajib diisi oleh guru pada saat guru masuk di kelas. Sehingga diperoleh hasil belajar dari penugasan tersebut. Pemberian tugas memberikan pengaruh terhadap waktu belajar, penguasaan materi, persiapan belajar dan motivasi belajar. Pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa yang meningkat karena pemberian tugas mendorong juga peningkatan pengalaman siswa dalam mempelajari sesuatu.
