Jakarta State University The purpose of this research is: 1) to find out description of the influence of training and competence to improving employee performace in employment ministries, 2) to find out the influence of training on employee performace in employment ministries, 3) to find out the influence of competence on employee performace in employment ministries, 4) to find out the influence of training and competence can predict employee performace models. This research conducted on 105 employee on staff of the employment ministry. The method used in the research is descriptive analysis and explanatory survey. The research result show that training has significant effect on employee performance, competence has significant effect on employee performance, training and competence have significantly effect on employee performance, Key word: Training, Competence, employee performance.
