- The study was to investigate the effect of palm kernel meal (PKM) usage as substitute for corn with different enzyme form for broiler gizzard characteristic, include gizzard percentage, wide membrane koilin of gizzard, total villus of gizzard, villus height on gizzard and koilin thickness of gizzard. The material this research was 168 DOC strain Ross production of PT. Charoend Pokhpand Indonesia. This research were analyzed using field experimantly with 7 treatments and 3 replications each. Data were analyzed using completely randomized design (CRD), if there was significant influenced by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the treatment gave significantly influenced (P<0.01) on gizzard percentage, wide membrane koilin, villus height and koilin thickness and gave insignificant influenced on total villus of gizzard. Based on the study concluded that the use of the palm kernel meal (PKM) can replace corn of 25 % in feed by the addition of an enzyme in a solid form able to increase villus height on gizzard, thickness membrane koilin and wide membrane koilin of gizzard, while by the addition of an enzyme solid and liquid was similar effect increase the total villus of gizzard and include gizzard percentage broiler.
