  • This research was doing at 15 June – 12 July 2009 in Nutrition Laboratory and Fishery Indoor Laboratory, Agriculture-Animal Husbandry Faculty university of Muhammadiyah Malang. The research are purposed to find out effect of using flour cassava leaf (manihot utillisima) as substitution flour soybean in woof to increase growth rate, FCR, and SR seed of nila fish (Oreochromis sp). The method used is experiment method and the research design used is completely randomized design (RAL), Analysis data with Analysis of Varians (ANAVA), with four treatment there are H1 (100 : 0 %), H2 (90 : 10 %), H3 (80 : 20 %), H4 (70 : 30 %) with three replication. The result of research shown that substitution of flour cassava leaf and flour soybean treatment in woof not influence to increase growth rate, FCR, and SR seed of nila fish (Oreochromis sp). Growth rate more high between third treatment there are H2 treatment with 5,25 % bw/day, and followed H1 and H3 treatment with each 3,80 % bw/day and H4 with 3,15 % bw/day. The best value of conversion food is H2 treatment with 2,03 and followed H4 treatment 2,76 and then H1 and H3 treatment with 2,58. Beside that for high value of survival rate is H1 treatment with 90 % and followed H4 treatment 76 %, H3 treatment 70 %, and H2 treatment with 63 %. For control water quality as living media there are temperature 23,85 – 24, 70 oC, dissolved oxygen (DO) between 5,96 – 6,49 ppm and pH 6,2 – 6,4. The conclusion from this research are substitution of flour cassava leaf and flour soybean treatment in woof not influence to increase growth rate, FCR, and SR seed of nila fish (Oreochromis sp).
