  • This study aimed to determine the effect of temulawak (Curcuma xantorhiza roxb) on carcass weight and abdominal weight of broilers. This research was conducted from January 16, 2019 to March 13, 2019 at the closed house, Muhammadiyah Malang University, Gondang Hamlet, Tegalgondo Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency.The material used in this study was 100 broiler Day Old Chick (DOC) with 4 treatments, namely P0 (Feed without the use of ginger flour), P1 (Feed with 2 percent use of ginger flour), P2 (Feed with 4 percent use temulawak flour), and P3 (Feed with 6 percent use of ginger flour) and 5 replications. Every replication has 5 chickens. The design used is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Data analysis using Variation Analysis (ANAVA) with the Smallest Significant Difference (LSD) follow-up test. The average carcass weight obtained from the study is P0 of 1042.2 grams, P1 of 1008.2 grams, P2 of 947.0 grams, and P3 of 774.6 grams. The average weight of Abdominal Fat obtained was P0 of 34.43 grams, P1 of 27.13 grams, P2 of 24.40 grams, and P3 of 17.38 grams.The conclusions of this study were that germination (Curcuma xantorhiza Roxb) can be downed carcass weight and on the weight of abdominal fat.
