Therefore, it is crucial to know the strengths and weaknesses of the native teacher's teaching techniques which successfully attracted the students' interest. On the other hand, this study applied a qualitative research design to collect students' perceptions of the native teacher's teaching techniques based on their experiences. The subjects were the students in the sixth semester who have learned with the native teacher at the English Language Education Department. In collecting data, the researcher employed an interview and a close-ended questionnaire. Besides, the result of this study revealed positive perceptions and negative perceptions of the native teacher&#x2019;s teaching techniques.
