  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of energy sources on ph value and the number of bacteria (escherchia coli and salmonella) biourin beef cattle, as well as finding the best energy source that produces pH and bacterial values (escherchia coli and salmonella) according to SNI standards. The method used in this study was to use Randomized Block Design (RBD) with a concentration of addition of energy sources such as molasses (10%), coconut water (10%), rice washing water (10%), coconut water (20%), washing water rice (20%) using 5 treatments with 3 replications. The results showed that effect of the type of energy source had a significant effect (P<0,05) on the pH value and had no significant effect (P>0,05) on the number of bacteria (escherchia coli and salmonella) of beef cattle biourin.
