- This research will be conducted on 25 June - 15 September 2018 at the Fisheries Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture - Animal Husbandry, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in value between the treatment of giving a combination of pellets + earthworms and pellets + golden snails. The research method used is the experimental method and processing the data using T test (independent t test) with 2 different treatments on the composition of feed P1 (Pellets + earthworms) and P2 (Pellets + golden conch) during the parent maintenance period. Furthermore, pearl catfish were spawned and extracted from fertilized eggs and hatched eggs were then analyzed using the T test (independent t test). The results of this study indicate that the administration of a combination of artificial feed and natural feed the mother of pearl catfish gives a significant difference in the number of fertilized eggs and the number of eggs hatched. The best number of fertilized eggs in P2 24,836 heads / g and the best number of menetaas egg average in P2 6,323 / L. This study concluded that there were differences in values between treatment 1 and treatment 2.
