  • Tourism and culinary are products that have important values in the tourism industry in an area. The current tourism and culinary business has contributed greatly to the total income of the tourism industry in Pasuruan Regency. Various types of natural, artificial, religious, cultural and culinary tourism become complex tourism packages. The limited time to visit makes it impossible for tourists to try all tourist and culinary places one by one, as a consumer will certainly experience doubts to choose the tourist and culinary places that will be visited and enjoyed especially in accordance with their prefects. A subjective preference gives a feeling of satisfaction to everyone. From these problems the researchers made a recommendation system to determine the search for tourist and culinary places to suit their prefects. The system is built using Android technology that is easy to use to be able to access information in realtime when connected to the internet to synchronize data automatically or manually and equipped with various features to help tourists find tourist and culinary places in Pasuruan Regency according to their prefects. In this study, recommendations for finding tourist and culinary places will use the Item Based Collaborative Filtering Method and Location Based Service Method.
