  • Along with the increasing consumption of community beef, irresponsible people make use of the condition by selling meat that is not suitable for consumption in ordinary people who do not know the characteristics of fresh beef only for their benefit. To anticipate this, a tool is made that can determine the quality of beef based on image processing using Raspberry PI. This technology combines two parameters, namely color parameters (HSI) and textur parameters (gray-level co-occurance matrix method) to determine the quality of beef. Decision taking on this tool uses the backpropagation method. This tool is relatively medium in size because it uses a box that is used to process the image retrieval using the Raspberry camera module. The use of this tool only includes beef samples and then will be taken by the Raspberry camera module then the image will experience the extraction process then the data obtained will be processed in the system that has been created and will be displayed in the Matlab Guide. This tool is designed serially with a PC to control data and test results can be concluded that the tools that have been made can detect the quality of beef efficiently.
