- The purpose of this research conducted is to determine the effect of hibiscus leaves supplementation on the intake and digestibility of dry matter on Jamnapari goat (Also known as Etawa goat or Peranakan Etawa). This research started in early February to early May 2018 and was conducted in Gempolan Village, Tulungagung. The object used in this research was 12 buck Jamnapari goats with an average body weight of 17.87 kg and 10 days of data retrieval. The design used in this research was the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with using 3 treatments and 4 repetitions. The treatment given was the complete feed by giving the hibiscus leaves supplementation with several levels of 0%; 2%; and 4% of total feed. The results of dry matter intake in this research were F0 1271,087 grams, F1,1373,34 and F2 1374,907 grams. The results of dry matter digestibility were F0 61.92%, F1 74%, and F2 71.93%, based on statistic calculations, it showed the hibiscus leaves supplementation of 2% to 4% in complete feed did not give a significant impact on the intake and digestibility of dry matter on Jamnapari goat (P> 0.05). The 4% hibiscus leaf supplementation in the complete feed is still tolerant to the goat's digestion. Therefore, it can be used as a substitute for forage feed up to 4% of the total feed.
