Daftar Isi:
- The research was conducted in 10th Juli-18th Agust 2017 in Laboratory of Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Fresh water culture Sumber Pasir, faculty of Fisheries and Marine sciences University of Brawijaya, Malang. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of giving goat droppings fermented with EM4 (Effective Microorganism 4) probiotic as natural feed to growth fingerlings of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), and to known the best compost dose to growth and survival fingerlingsof tilapia (O. niloticus). This research used the experimenthal method while the experimenthal design that was used completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 levels of treatment and 1 control also 3 repetitions. The treatment is giving different compost dose, like A treatment (0,010 gr/cm2), B treatment (0,015 gr/cm2), C treatment (0,020 gr/cm2), D treatment (0,025 gr/cm2) dan K treatment (control). The obtained were analyzed by the analysis of variance (ANOVA) method, and followed use the smallest real difference test (BNT). The result showed that different compost dose giving real influence (P>0,05) as natural feed to growth and survival fingerlings of tilapia (O. niloticus). A treatment with compost dose 0,010 gr/cm2 obtained the best valuebetwen all treatment with absolute length of 1,91 cm, the daily growth rate of 8,98%, the absolute weigth of 1,73 gr, and the survival rate of 80%.
