  • Registration of Right of Ownership by Legal Entity generally can be done by way of release of rights then applying for rights in accordance with the provisions of Article 11 to 16 PMNA/KBPN Number 9 Year 1999. Walisongo Foundation Lamongan is a legal entity that can have Property Right on Land based on Decision Letter The appointment of a Legal Entity that may own the Property Right to the Land in which the foundation is one of the legal subjects in accordance with the provisions of Government Regulation Number 38 Year 1963. This study used sociological juridical approach method, primary data source obtained from interview and written document while secondary data source obtained from books, scientific articles, scientific journals, and scientific papers. Data collection techniques were in the form of interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis technique. From this study it was found that the registration procedure performed by Walisongo Foundation Lamongan was not in accordance with the stipulation of PMNA/KBPN Number 9 Year 1999. This was shown by the fact that the release of rights carried out by Walisongo Foundation Lamongan has not been done so that the foundation has not filed the lands that they own. Advice, the Land Office should provide brochures regarding information about the issuance of certificate of Right of Ownership by Legal Entity, so that the new land officials to do the first time related to land registration procedures have better understanding and do not feel confused
