- This study is aimed to know the influence emerged by feeding frequency toward woof consumption, final weight, and woof conversion toward meal chicken. In the last of this study, it can be useful information in the time of appropriate and efficient feeding woof so that it can present the good performance. This study is conducted in Landungsari, Malang on January 22 – February 26, 2010. Material used in this study is 100 chicken of strain lohman by 4 treatment frequency on feeding; it is P1 = feeding frequency in the period of 2 hours once as long as 24 hours, P2 = feeding frequency in the period of 4 hours once for 24 hours, P3 = feeding frequency in 6 hours period for 24 jam, P = feeding frequency in 8 hours period for 24 hours, and every treatment is repeated for 5 times. The method here is Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Data analysis for this study is variation. To know the influence of treatment toward variable, it would be continue with the Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) test. From the result of observation for 35 days, it can obtained that consumption average of woof is P1=103,928 gram/chicken/day, P2=109,552 gram/chicken/day, P3=106,88 gram/chicken/day, P4=103,268. And the average of the influence of frequency toward woof conversion for each is: P1=1,746, P2=1,792, P3=1,8, P4=1,658. The result of calculation shows that feeding frequency has significant influence (P > 0,05) toward feeding consumption and conversion toward meal chicken. Yet, the treatment has no significant influence toward final weight. The average of the highest number in the treatment is P4=2,1758 kg/chicken. The conclusion of this study is that the frequency of woof feeding has significant influence toward woof consumption and conversion, but it is not influence the final weight. Consumption and conversion is more caused by digestion system and chicken attitude, no influence in final weight is caused by the health problem in chicken.
