- This research investigates the use of Team Assisted Individualization in teaching reading comprehension on narrative text lesson, specifically it is written in the tittle of this research paper. This research is aimed for knowing student’s response of using Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) method in learning reading comprehension on narrative text at first grade senior high school of Al-Irsyad; knowing Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) method in teaching reading comprehension at first grade senior high school of Al-Irsyad; and knowing the influence of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) on student’s reading comprehension at first grade senior high school of Al-Irsyad. Method used for this research is experimental with two classes, called experimental and control class using pre-test and post-test technique. This research involves 60 student’s as sample among first class of SMA Al-Irsyad Banten year 2017 as population. The result of this research shows that score of t-test t_o:t_t=6,12>1,67, in degree of significance 5% and t_o:t_t=6,12>2,39 in degree of significance 1% so that H_(a )(alternative hypothesis) of the result is accepted and H_o (null hypothesis) is rejected. It means that using of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) method has significant influence in teaching reading comprehension on narrative text.
