- This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in social studies fourth grade Elementary School Pasirkarag 2 subdistricts koroncong Pandeglang using cooperative learning approach Make A Match Type, this study used a research methodology class action (PTK) involving researchers as implementers in the classroom and the teacher as an observer. (PTK) is carried on two cycles, respectively - each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The number of fourth grade students at SDN Pasirkarag 2 totaling 24 students. The results of the meeting during the study was mastery learning students in social studies subject type - the type of natural resources increased after application of cooperative learning approach Type Make A Match, students who completed the first cycle of learning social studies in a total of 12 students from 24 students, if presented as much as 50% of the average - average activity of teachers and students in the first cycle was 65%. In the second cycle the number of students who completed the study increased to 22 students out of 24 students or 91%, the result of the activities of teachers and students in the second cycle is a 100% increase previously. From these results, it is evident that the type of cooperative learning approach Make A Match can improve student learning outcomes in social studies fourth grade Elementary School Pasirkarag 2 on the material type - the type of natural resources. For this type of cooperative learning approach Make A Match has become one of the options to improve student learning outcomes in the subjects of Social Sciences.
