(PTK) is&#xD; carried on two cycles, respectively - each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The&#xD; number of fourth grade students at SDN Pasirkarag 2 totaling 24 students.&#xD; The results of the meeting during the study was mastery learning students in&#xD; social studies subject type - the type of natural resources increased after&#xD; application of cooperative learning approach Type Make A Match, students&#xD; who completed the first cycle of learning social studies in a total of 12&#xD; students from 24 students, if presented as much as 50% of the average -&#xD; average activity of teachers and students in the first cycle was 65%. In the&#xD; second cycle the number of students who completed the study increased to 22&#xD; students out of 24 students or 91%, the result of the activities of teachers and&#xD; students in the second cycle is a 100% increase previously. From these&#xD; results, it is evident that the type of cooperative learning approach Make A&#xD; Match can improve student learning outcomes in social studies fourth grade&#xD; Elementary School Pasirkarag 2 on the material type - the type of natural&#xD; resources.
