Determination of Water Hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) Digestibility Value Fermented by Some Types Mold In Catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus) Supervised by MUSTAHAL, ACHMAD NOERKHAERIN PUTRA, and REZA SAMSUDIN. The research was coducted to evaluate the digestibility of fermented water hyacinth using varians of mould in pangasid catfish. Eighteen aquarium was used in this research. The aquarium were equipped with relation and aeration sistem. Pangasid catfish with initial body weight 10.33±0.01 g/fish was used, the stocking density about 25 fish/aquarium. The formation for test diet consists of 70% reference diet and 30% ingredient test (water hyacinth meal). Four types of mould; Trichoderma reesei, Rhizopus oligosporus, Rhizopus oryzae, Aspergillus niger and it consorsium were used in this research. The result showed that fermented water hyacinth with Trichoderma reesei gave the highest value for protein and total digestibility compound with the control. The protein and crude fiber digestibility 79.26±0.68% and 69.34 ± 0.82% respectively. The fermentation using Aspergillus niger give the highest for energy digestibility 74.49±0.34%. And for the value of the total digestibility of 67.50±0.40% is the highest value obtained in the control treatment. Provision of water hyacinth by the mould Trichoderma reesei fermented in effect on the digestibility of feed on pangasid catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus). .
