- The purpose of this study were (1) To enhance the student’s learning activities using cooperative learning models’ of type IOC. (2) To improve students learning of comes by using a model of cooperative learning type IOC. The research method use was Classroom, Action Researchis conducted in to cycles, each cycle include : planning, Implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collected by testing and observation, the research subject was conducted at SDN Tegal Kembang Walantaka . The research subject were student ingrade six. The result showed that : (1) the use of cooperative learning model of type IOC can improve student learning activities, this was shown by the increasing percentage of student learning activities ranging from first cycle to second cycle. Persentage of the value student activity in first cycle was 66.67% and the second was 93.33%. (2) can improve student learning outcomes this can be seen from the value of student learning outcomes.the average percentage of student learning outcomes in first cycle was 73.39 and 86.42 for the second cycle. The clonclusion that can be drawn is that learning to use cooperative learning model of type IOC can improvestudent lesrning outcomes on the consept of natural features and social circumstances night boring countries in the sixth grade of elementary school Tegal Kembang Walantaka academic year 2014/2015.
