- Background research of this class action is in the process of learning the teacher is not using current variations and the learning methods only apply the lecture method is monotonous and therefore contributes to low activity and student learning outcomes.. The purpose of this research is to increase the activity and results for students at SDN 07 Cilegon on the proclamation of the historical material.. This research conducted of two cycles, each cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that1 ) student activity increased after using Role Playing . 2 ) increased student learning outcomes of each cycle , the first cycle reaches 48 % , while the second cycle increased to 93 %. Based on these results the researchers concluded that the activities of teachers and students has increased after using Role Playing. The conclusions of this research is through Role Playing models can improve the quality of learning social studies include, activities and student learning outcomes. Suggestions from this research is the teacher should be able to choose the model of learning and media appropriate to the material that improve learning outcomes and student activity during the learning process
