- The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the partial compensation and work discipline on employee performance and job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The population that made this study are employees PT.Nippon Shokubai Indonesia Cilegon part of the production department of 280 employees. The sampling technique using random sampling. Determination of the sample using the formula slovin with a sample of 74 respondents. Data collection methods used include: interviews, observations, questionnaires. Data analysis using classical assumption test, track path analysis, t test. From the calculation results SPSS v.20 , research results with significance level of 5 % was obtained conclusions : (1) Kompensasiberpengaruh positive and no significant effect on job satisfaction in the can t count ( 0.224 ) < t-table ( 1.993 ) . (2) Work Discipline positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction obtained t count ( 2.420 ) > t-table ( 1.993 ) . ( 3 ) Compensation and no significant negative effect on employee performance obtained –t-count ( -0.875 ) > -t-table ( -1.993 ) . (4) Work Discipline positive and significant effect on employee performance obtained t-count ( 2879 ) > t-table ( 1.993 ) . (5) job satisfaction and no significant positive effect on employee performance obtained t count ( 0.901 ) < t - table ( 1.993 ) .
