  • This researh to clarify whether the effect of work ethic and work dicipline on employee performance by means of job satisfaction as intervening variables at Koperasi Banten Tiga Lontar in Kabupaten Tangerang. Design/methodology/approach; there are four variabels in this research is Work Ethic (X1), Work Dicipline (X2), Employee Performance (Y) and Job Satisfaction (Z). this research is basic research involving 94 sampels employee at Koperasi Banten Tiga Lontar by interactive, observation and Quesioner by likert, used descriptive method, Data analysis: instrument test, clasic assumptions test, double regression analysis, t-test, path analysis intervening variabels, and sobel test by calculation results SPSS v.20 program. Originality/value/result: (1) there is the significant effect (X1) on (Z) by t count (2,379) > t table (1,986) sig (0,019 < 0,05); (2) that there is significant effect (X2) on (Z) by t count (25,932) > t-table (1.986) sig (0,000 < 0,05); (3) there is weak effect (X1) on (Y) by t count (0,06) < t-table (1.986) sig (0,946 > 0,05); (4) there is significant effect (X2) on (Y) by t count (5,387) <t-table (1.986) sig (0,000 < 0,05); (5) there is significant effect (Z) on ( Y) by t count (6,304) <ttable (1.986) sig (0,000 < 0,05); (6) job satisfaction be intervening variabels on for relationship work ethic and work dicipline on employee performance because indirect effect X1 (0,046), X2 (0,516) > direct effectm X1 (0,006), X2 (0,493) with weaks effect.
