  • This Research was initiated because the fact that Student Studies Outcome in Social Studies was in Low Level. There is one ways to fix that problem is Applied a Cooperative Learning Model : Student Teams Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) Type. This Research has a purpose to Find out how Cooperative Learning Model : Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) Influence to Social Studies Outcome enhancement. More spesific, to know Student interest level with social studies. The Research was conducted on 5th Grade in Pancawati II Karawang Region Public Elementary School, the Research Methods which is Used in this research is experimental quasi with Pretest-Posttest Control Group research design. To select two classes sample (V B & V C) the sampling technique used in this research is cluster sampling. In this research V B class is selected as experiment classes and V C as control classes. Cooperative Learning Model : Student Teams Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) is applied to experimental class ( V B ) and the others (control class / V C) was use an conventional models/methods. The hypothesis that proposed in this research is a increase in social studies outcome in class who used Cooperative Learning Model : Student Teams Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) is higher / better than a class who used a conventional models/methods. Based on the analyst, the average increase in social studies outcome on experimental class and control class is 0,68 on experimental class and 0,11 on control class. From right side test results on significant level = 0,05 obtained tcount > ttable or 2,14 > 1,697. Based on that fact, we can concluded that the results of social studies using cooperative learning model : Student Teams Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) better than the result that use conventional learning models . This Research results shows that the use of cooperative learning model : Student Teams Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) has a better effect/influence on student social studies outcomes. and shown that student interest about Cooperative Learning Model : Student Teams Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) has a positive responses.
