- The aim of this research is to determine cooperative learning modelTalking Chipstype influence toward motivation to learn and cognitive ability on photosynthesis subconcept. This research used quasi experiment method with randomized control group onlydesign. Population of this research was student’s of 8 th grade at SMP 15 Kota Serang academic year 2013/2014. The sample of this research was VIII G as a control class and VIII B as a experiment class. Sampling technique was a simple random sampling. Data was conducted by objective test, questionnaire and implementation of learning model observation sheets. Based on t test result at α = 0,05, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model Talking Chipstype has influence to motivation to learn and cognitive ability on photosynthesis subconcept.
