photosynthesis subconcept. This research used quasi experiment method with 
randomized control group onlydesign. Population of this research was student’s of

th grade at SMP 15 Kota Serang academic year 2013/2014. The sample of this 
research was VIII G as a control class and VIII B as a experiment class. Sampling 
technique was a simple random sampling. Data was conducted by objective test, 
questionnaire and implementation of learning model observation sheets. Based on 
t test result at α = 0,05, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model 
Talking Chipstype has influence to motivation to learn and cognitive ability on
