  • The aim of this study was to find out the different on students’ IPS achievement that have been taught by using flash card media and teaching without using any Media. This research used quasi-experimental study with nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted in SD Negeri Wanakerta 3 on 1 April to 8 th April 2016. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. In this study, class IVA as the experiment class make use of flash card media and IVB as the control class using talks without any media. The research instrument was 20 items of multiple choices. To test the hypothesis in this research, the researcher used t-test. The 1 st hypothesis result showed � ������ greater than � , 3,73 > 2,002. So, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It meant that there was a � �� significant different between students’ achievement by using flash card media with students’ achievement by teaching without using any media. While in the 2 hypothesis result showed � ������ greater than � , 3,73 > 1,672. So, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It meant the result of this research � �� indicate that flash card media afford better impact learning outcomes than students’ achievement by teaching without using any media.
