The method used was quasi experimental with&#xD; randomized control group only design. The study population were all VIIth grade&#xD; students of SMPN 1 Sukadiri 2014/2015 with the sample of class VIIth 4 as the&#xD; experimental class and VIIth 5 as control class taken by simple randomized&#xD; sampling technique. Students concept understanding for experimental class had&#xD; value 70,4 included to fair category and control class had value 69,5 included to&#xD; fair category. Student&#x2019;s activity for experimental class had value 71,8 included to&#xD; good category and control class had value 65,2 included to fair category.
