  • This study aims to look at the extent of the effect of the application of learning models Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), students' motivation to learn and characters affect the results of study on the subjects of Information and Communication Technology. This research was conducted in SMK PGRI Chemical Serang. This research includes experiments and research using quantitative methods. Random data retrieval techniques, the study sample consisted of 60 respondents from the control class and experimental class. The research data were collected by using tests, questionnaires and observations. Instrument reliability achievement test results determined using the formula of alpha and crombac, achievement motivation questionnaire reliability and character of the students using the formula Kuder Richarson. To test the validity of the study results by using biserial coefficient while the validity of the questionnaire using Product Moment correlation coefficient. From the calculation results obtained tcount> t¬tabel (38.608> 2.045). It can be concluded that, STAD learning model has a significant effect on yield improvement learning lessons of Information Technology and Communication x grade students in SMK PGRI Chemical Serang
