  • This study aimed to examine the influence of organizational culture, competence, professionalism internal controlling, and the leadership style of the performance of local governments with good governance as an intervening variable. This study uses the entire the SKPD in the of Cilegon City, Banten as a research location.The number of samples in this study were 78 respondents, comprised of Echelon III and IV are obtained by using purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used in this study is the approach Partial Least Square (PLS) using Smart PLS software version 1.0.The results of this study indicated that organizational culture has a significant positive effect on local government performance, competency has a significant positive effect on good governance, professionalism internal controlling have significant positive effect on good governance, good governance has a significant positive effect on the performance of the local government, leadership style has significant positive effect on local government performance, competence mediated by good governance has a significant positive effect on local government performance, professionalism intern controlling mediated by good governance has a significant positive effect on the performance of local government.
