  • This study aimed to determine the effect of rice bran with phytase enzyme and supplementation of lemuru fish oil on the percentage of carcass and abdominal fat in chicken layer. This research is experimental research. This study used 24 ISA Brown chicken layers that were 48 weeks old. P0 group as negative control and group P1 as positive control. The P0 group was not given rice bran with phytase enzyme and lemuru fish supplementation. Group P1 was given 2% supplementation of lemuru fish without bran with substitution of phytase enzyme. P2 to P5 were given rice bran with phytase enzyme as a substitution with different percentages (5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%) and added with 2% lemuru fish oil. Data was taken at the end of the study. Data were analyzed using Variant Analysis (ANOVA) and Duncan. The results showed that the substitution of rice bran with phytase enzyme did not affect (p> 0.05) in the percentage of carcass and abdominal fat.
