  • Total Quality Management (TQM) is the theory that deals with the administrative methods of an organization, as a unique total. For the application of its principles in the filed of libraries, the collection of data that concerns the evaluation of provided services, is required. This article refers in the application of evaluation processes in the sector of cataloging. The definition of quality in cataloging, with special focus in the users opinion, is been reported. Finally, the application of W. E. Deming’s theory in Cataloging Department, is been examined.
