- This article offers an overview of the status of Open Access at Austrian university libraries in 2013. Beginning with a short introduction to the subject, current data to Open Access which the ubifo has surveyed by the use of a questionnaire are presented. After considering the state of implementation of the Green Way (repositories) and the Golden Way (Open Access journals and books) at Austrian libraries, some new Open Access related services which have been established during the last years are introduced. Finally a short description of the most important Open Access projects with Austrian participation as well as a short review of further developments is given.
