  • ABSTRACT: This study was conducted to investigate the cilkt of dietan. palm kernel cake oil body fat and carcass of barrows Thirty six (36) Australian Landrace barrows at 30 weeks old with average weight of 65.6642 70 kg were used in four dietary trcatmcnts. i.e , the P1. P2. P3 and P4 The leafing trial was cabled MI 11'0111 3U up to 36 weeks old by using two diets, t c.,(commercial diet) and R2 (diet containing palm kerne! cake) The P group was fed with RI during the whole trial The P2 was fed with R1 during the first four wo.:ks and led with R2 during the last two weeks 'Mc P1 was fed with R1 during the first two weeks and fed with R2 during the last four weeks -rue P4 was fed with R2 during the whole trial The results showed that dietary treatments P 1, P2, P3 and P, did not significantly influence abdominal fat and percentage of abdominal fat weights, iodine number of back fat. carcass and the percentage of carcass bone weights. and the carcass neat kscight But, significantly decreased thickness of back fat, and increased the liminess of hack fat and the percentage of carcass meat weight (P
