- The succeed of organization has been develop based on a different philosophy, which is based on a point of view that motivation is a potential and competitive weapon. In an individual development carrier shows that motivation starts from individual characteristic, job characteristic and organization character, so each of them can be responsible with their development carrier. This research's goals are to know the effect of individual characteristic, job characteristic, and compensation to job satisfaction and performance of employee at di PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Divisi Kartu Kredit Representative Office Surabaya. The technique of analysis used in this research is Path Analysis with the following results : 1. The first hypothesis expressing that Individual Characteristic influence Job Satisfaction at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Divisi Kartu Kredit Representative Office Surabaya is proved. 2. The second hypothesis expressing that Job Characteristic influence Job Satisfaction at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Divisi Kartu Kredit Representative Office Surabaya is not proved. 3. The third hypothesis expressing that Compensation influence Job Satisfaction at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Divisi Kartu Kredit Representative Office Surabaya is proved. 4. The fourth hypothesis expressing that Job Satisfaction influence Employee's Performance at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Divisi Kartu Kredit Representative Office Surabaya is proved. 5. The fifth hypothesis expressing that Individual Characteristic influence Employee's Performance at PT.
